Accustom Yourself to Hot Draw Poker!

Here, you can learn about the following draw poker versions: Six Back to Five, Three-Legged Race and Whiskey.

Six Back to Five

Unlike five card draw poker, in Six Back to Five draw poker players are dealt six face-down cards. In the end the hands must contain five cards, and therefore, in the drawing round, players receive one card less than they have discarded.

Six Back to Five has the same betting structure as five card draw poker, which is dealing, betting round, drawing, betting round, showdown. However, with an additional card it is easier to form a good hand, so all hands lose a bit of their relative strength.

Three-Legged Race

As follows from the name, Three-Legged Race is played in three legs, which means that the first player who wins three games, collects the pot. Besides, Three-Legged Race is played in High/Low format, which means that two players win a leg in each game, the player with the highest hand at the table and the players with the lowest one. If two players win their third leg in the same game, the pot is split between them.

When played with seven cards, Three-Legged Race allows players to call Pig, which is going High and Low at the same time. If such player wins both, he is awarded two legs.

Whiskey Poker

Whiskey Poker is draw poker with a kitty, which is an additional five card hand dealt face-down to the center of the table. After all players receive their cards and the first betting round takes place, each player in the clockwise direction is given an option to exchange his entire hand with the kitty. If one of the players decides to do it, he takes the kitty and puts his former hand face-up in the center of the table. Once the kitty is taken, the kitty round ends and other players do not have an option to exchange the entire hand. If none of the players takes the kitty, it is turned face up by the dealer.

When the kitty is face up, the drawing round begins. Starting from the player sitting to the left of the one who took the kitty (or the player to the dealer's left if the kitty was not taken), players exchange any number of their cards with the kitty. A player who draws cards from the kitty puts the same number of cards from his hand face-up in the center of the table, so the kitty keeps consisting of five face-up card during the entire game.

Players are allowed to decline drawing cards from the kitty, but they can not do it two times in a row. So, if a player did not exchange any cards, in the next round he has to draw at least one card or knock on the table, calling for the showdown.

There can be as many drawing rounds as it is necessary. The game ends when one of the players decides to play his hand. Such player knocks on the table, after which all other players are given the last opportunity to draw cards form the kitty and the showdown takes place.
